When you use CPYSPLF to copy to a disk file, make the record length the width of the report + 1. Use the option CTLCHAR(*FCFC). When you copy back to a spool file you use OVRPRTF QSYSPRT CTLCHAR(*FCFC) then CPYF filename QSYSPRT. You could do a CRTDUPOBJ of QSYSPRT and call it something like RESPOOL, and do CHGPRTF RESPOOL CTLCHAR(*FCFC) - then just CPYF filename RESPOOL.
