I tried CPYF but it just looked like a file dump. > -- > žžžžžžžžžžžžž > ž-Tim Truax-ž > žžžžžžžžžžžžž Tim, When you copy the spool file to the PF, specify CTLCHAR( ) as *FCFC (First Character Forms Control), *PRTCTL (AS/400 4 byte control caharacters in first 4 positions), or *S36FMT. Make sure the file is defined long enough to accomodate the control characters. When you want to go back to a spool file, override QPRINT with the same format you specified earlier. This should take care of the "dump" look you are seeing. -- Bob Larkin Larkin Computer Consulting blarkin@wt.net +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to "MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com". | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MAJORDOMO@midrange.com | and specify 'unsubscribe MIDRANGE-L' in the body of your message. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
