(1) You can set up, in the same environment, an SNA connection, on which you can set up a printer session (2) Put an LPD server on the PC (Brooks' Remote Print Manager - http://www.brooksnet.com - comes to mind; knows the AS/400) and set up a remote outq on the AS/400--IMO, slick, although you lose some functionality (page range, e.g.) at present--Brooks is working on it. There are a couple Web documents from IBM on the subject. Go to http://as400service.rochester.ibm.com/as4sde/sline002.nsf/sline002home and take 'Client Access', then go to Doc No 8652257 'How Do I Configure a PC5250 Printer Session over a TCP/IP Connection in Windows 95?' (2nd page on my browser). This covers (1) above. Doc No 6163631 'Printing to a PC Printer Using Client Access for Windows 95 over TCP/IP' is more general. Also, you might look at http://www.as400.ibm.com/client/print.htm for lots of stuff on the subject.
