re: dial-in to a perle controller -- MIDRANGE-L

I want to dial into an AS/400, V3R1 that has a Perle 3I controller.

I have OS/2 Merlin 4.0 

What software do I need that I don't have?  I thought that OS/2 came with
Communications Manager/2 and 5250 emulation, but I can't figure out how to
make it work.  tia.
