OPNQRYF question :)

Hello all,
I am trying to find out as much about the OPNQRYF function as I can.  I
am new to the AS400 and I am sitting in a room with an AS400 programmer
with several years experience, and he can't seem to offer me any help on
this powerful function, I have been putzing around with it and I have
been very impressed with its power and frustrated by my lack of
understanding.  I have IBMs Softcopy on my home PC (I can't wait till I
get my work PC.. Why is it that the power users are always last?) that
gives several excellent examples, I am wondering if suggestions can be
made as to where I can get a reference work that you people would
recommend on the OPNQRYF function.
