I was told that today, IBM has written an APAR against the problem I mentioned in my previous warning. I am in Rochester doing some testing. The PTF will fix the time estimates aback to 3.6 where users were not being notified of libraries with compressed programs. As I mentioned in my previous message, make sure that you plan enough time for Murphy and the potential object conversion problem with time estimates. I tend to do more object conversion than any other person in the world. Therefore, I tend to compare numbers on object conversion more than anyone else. This is why I found the problem. Make sure you read Jelan Heidelberg comments that were posted. She is a sharp young lady so knows CISC to RISC inside and out. Peter H. O'Connor PAE Inc 7 Riverway Rd. I don't want people getting into trouble with time estimates and they have enought problems with Murphy. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * This is the Midrange System Mailing List!
