  • Subject: Sending Spool files using TCP/IP to a network printer
  • From: ricardo charvex <sys1rbc@xxxxxxxxxx>

To all if anyone can give me an idea. I'm sending spool files to one of
my IP network printers with no problem using command "SNDTCPSPLF". I
created an outque que so I can use it to send it to this IP printer. The
problem is everytime I strrmtwtr for this outqueue an error message
comes up "Remote host system closed connection unexpectedly". When I
created the output queue I did enter all of the IP address and remote
queue name. I also started the LPD session Strtcpsvr *lpd. Can anyone
help me. Basically what I need to know a way of sending tcp/ip spool
files using an output que instead of just using the command
"strtcpsplf".
Thanks,
Ricardo
