We have been looking into getting rid of our old WinNT 3.x Lotus Notes
Server and installing an IPCS processor on our 510. Does anyone have an
idea of what the top of the line IPCS costs? Also, how much DASD should
I allocate for a 250+ user Notes environment. Primarily, we use it for
internal e-mail and some small tracking databases. Does IBM plan on
giving customer discounts of some sort to anyone looking to upgrade from
the IPCS Lotus Notes to the Native version (when it is unveiled of
course). Also, what other pricing issues should I take into account
ie. IBM services. Finally, does anyone have input on the performance
of the IPCS running Novell? Basically, we are trying to justify running
Notes on the 400 as opposed to upgrading our existing server that will
cost approx $20k for a new one. Any thoughts, suggestions, comments?

Thanx in advance,
Gary Feinstein
