Re: Defective PTF ALERT!!!!

This is why we use a Cum-1 stategy.  We order cum tapes/CD Roms as they
become available.  We wait until the next one is available and order it.  We
then order the PSP (SF98vrm) for the previous cum to check for defective
PTFs.  If there are any, we omit them when we load the previous cum.

We adopted this stategy after a defective PTF under V1R2 which prevented a
SAVSYS done after applying the cum tape from being restored after a disk
crash.  Sounds like a similar problem to what you have described here.
