After my V3R1 machine was upgraded to V3R2 with the addition of an FSIOP, I installed the FSIOP integration software (5763SA2) and changed the license information for the number of licenses at our site. I created a Network Server Description that ointed to the FSIOP resource name (CC03), and defined it as type *BASE. I created a line description using the CFGNWD menu where the resource name is *NWSD, the name of the network server description is from above, and the port is port 1 on the FSIOP. I created storage space in the format of *HPFS. I added the server storage link to point to the *FIRSTAVAIL drive letter. However, when I vary on the network server description, I get an error message: IOP resource type does not match the object type being varied on. Any clue what's going on?
