The format of NUM8 default to the format specified in the DATFMT keyword on
the H-spec. If none is specified, it will default to *ISO which will yield
YYYYMMDD.  If you have a DATFMT(*USA) coded in the H-spec, NUM8 will be in
MMDDYYYY format.  Remember, you can code a default DATFMT in the data area
DFTLEHSPEC in QRPGLE to override the *ISO default.
