CISC to RISC migrations vary all of the place. They vary based on the method used (sise by side, replace the release, unload/reload), the size of the system, speed of the media, amount of DASD, number of issues to be handled. When we walk into a shop, we give a first blush estimate of $6000 to $15,000, although we have done them for less money and for considerably more money. Keep in mind that we tend to work with larger AS/400s.
