In choosing how and what to protect ASSUME THE WORST. For RAID5 that
means
DUAL DRIVE FAILURE in the same 9337 or equiv(yes it does happen). I had
a case
where a customer had multi ASPs and for whatever the reason had parts of
all 3
ASP's across several different 9337's and in one case all 3 ASPs were
partially
on the same 9337. 

That 9337 lost 2 HDAs during a NASTY power hit. A complete reload had to
be done
ALL journals were lost etc. "IF" the ASP'd had been laid out
differently, MAYBE
depending which ASP was affected, a partial restore would have been in
order. 
It could have been just a loss of journals?
