4214 is the closest. If that doesn't work, do you have an IBM 348x? They
all should have 4202 (which is the IBM machine type for the original
Proprinter XL). 

I seem to remember it was more important to configure the device
properly on the 400 than at the workstation. First, activate the pariner
port on the terminal, power it off & back on. If your 400 has QAUTOCFG
set to '1', it should be there as PRTxx (you can rename it later).

Go with the ASCII charset.
