Every job on your V3Rx system (V2R3 too?) is using two activation groups: a system-only group and a default OPM-compatibility group. When you use RPG IV, you have the option of also using named, *CALLER, and *NEW activation groups. Only these three types of groups allow you to use bound calls, service programs, imports/exports, and the binder language. If your shop standards do not forbid their use and you have the opportunity to use them, I would do it. -- Edward R.Smith mailto:edsmith@scvnet.com http://www.scvnet.com/~edsmith/ ATS Project Leader mailto:edsmith@ibmuser.com http://www.ibmuser.com SMUG Webmaster http://www.ibmuser.com/smug No unsolicited e-mail thank you. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * This is the Midrange System Mailing List!
