Spool files are not our main problem. We use command AGEOUTQ that comes as part of the ROBOT/400 Job Scheduler. Each time you 'age' an outq, a sequential number in the user info field is incremented. You tell it how many times to allow a file to exist. When the number reaches your limit, it is deleted. You can age the queue daily, weekly, or anytime you like. Except for a few Queues (ie the MicroFish queues), we age everything. We've noticed that (most) people never notice a file missing after 2 weeks.... (: I also have a theory that -no one- reads any report more than 10 pages long. We oughta just print the total page and skip all the detail!
