I never received any 16-bit compatibility mode messages. CONNAH and NSTWINAX just did not appear in the memory listing when loaded under WINSTART. They DO appear when loaded under AUTOEXEC. I've experienced NO problems since loading these programs under AUTOEXEC. They're even happy when loaded into upper memory, so I have about 580K-600K conventional memory. Upper memory's crammed, but that's why it's there. But what's the advantage of loading under WINSTART versus AUTOEXEC? Especially when it can cause these conflicts?
