Thanks for your reply.  What I would like to do for our web page is to
create a "cook book" solution to particular situations.

Personally I find this list very helpful yet frustrating.  Sometimes a
person posts a question without enough information for a decent answer,
or the answer is incomplete.

Just today someone asked about file transfer using the ASCII controller.
The response was "no problem with an APPC connection".

The poster did not state connection used, and the respondant did not
provide a COMPLETE working solution.

I'm going to get an updated copy of the NS router based upon the info
you provided me.  What would save me some time, and what I would like to
put on the web is the actual source code for a working connection.

I've done this by doing a WRKDEVD and taking option 9 (retrieve source)
and including it within our product library.  Stating *NET includes the
line, controller, and device descriptions.

Call me lazy but I hate doing or having my staff start from scratch each
and every time.
I would rather just start PDM, cursor the line, press F4, and change the
device name or whatever.

Now I know the combinations grow real fast, but someone has to start
somewhere.
