Thanks for the info, I have forwarded it along to my client.
BTW, can the RUNRMTCMD CL command be used??  It seems to allow you to
defined *IP as a link type.  When I tried it, I get a message (acually a
spool file) that says Login incorrect, even thought I'm sure the user name
and password I am specifying of the command is correct.  Is there some sort
of set up or configuration on the RS6000 that needs to be done, like
starting the REXECD
daemon??
