In my humble opinion, and limited exposure, I've found that cobol tends to confuse rather than illuminate when too many 88 level conditions are used. I find it a total hassle and a complete waste of my time to be constantly going back to the w-s section to figure out what "If THIS-WONT-WORK-UNLESS-YOURE-SMART Then" actually means... AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!
