My favourites....

COMMANDS with the basics; object name and library name with *CURLIB as
default return as one field; a simple list of up to 5 items; a more complex
list containing up to 5 entries of object name, library name, object type.

UIM programming tied in with API programming with user spaces.  I've seen a
user written PDM which was excellent.

Use of QCMDEXEC, QCLSCAN etc.

Error handling in both CL and RPG.
