Job Description:

- Conduct and monitor overnight processes on IBM i (iSeries) systems.
- Conduct AS/400 backup processes and prepare tapes for pickup.
- Work closely with other teams during overnight installs and upgrades
to key Crate systems.
- Conduct program promotions and upgrades.
- Understand and practice proper escalation of incidents.
- Remotely configure company computer equipment.
- Answer inbound calls to the helpdesk and assist and escalate as
needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve computer, network and communication related
incidents and escalate as needed.
- Assist users with basic Microsoft Windows questions and
troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot POS systems and components and peripherals ID and
research technical problems.
- May be required to perform additional projects as needed
- Respond quickly and efficiently to customer/user requests in both
written and verbal form.
- Maintain an awareness of loss prevention, security and safety
following the guidelines provided by the Human Resources Department
and/or as outlined in the Crate and Barrel/CB2 Associate Guide.

Required Skills:

- 1-2 years experience as a computer operator and technician
- High school diploma/GED equivalent
- Must be able to work Wednesday "Sunday morning 7:00pm " 5:30am
- Desire to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Must be dependable and able to work autonomously
- Good verbal and written communication skills (English)
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to work efficiently and meet project deadlines with minimal
supervision
- Good problem solving, multi-tasking and organizational skills
