The Programmer Analyst's role is to define, develop, test, analyze, modify
and maintain new and existing software applications to support the
requirements of the business. This includes writing, coding, testing and
analyzing software programs and applications. The Programmer Analyst will
also research, design, document and modify software specifications through
the production lifecycle. This role will also give you the opportunity to
work on PHP web development projects!!
Education/Experience/Personal Requirements
. Degree in computer science or related field and a minimum of 1-3 years
equivalent work experience
. Proficiency in a variety of programming languages including RPG IV, ILE,
Free Format RPG and CL, as well as toolsets including Aldon Change
Management, Sequel, SQL and Abstract
. Excellent understanding of coding and best practices
. Experience with IBM System i relational database and operating systems
. Understanding of project management and experience in gathering and
analyzing business requirements
. Hands-on troubleshooting experience
