As a member of a small, highly effective IT team you will be responsible for
assisting in the development, implementation and support of the company's
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Provide support to project teams
with a focus on business process development and strategic business
direction.



Position Duties and Responsibilities:

. Need experience with MAPICS or JD Edwards or JBA or BPCS or PRMS
software in an AS400 environment.

. Ability to communicate and interpret system needs and service
requirements in general business language

. Performs design and programming as needed in accomplishment of the
overall project and the business plan.

. Analyzes and coordinates application installation and systems
development projects and activities within the IT Department, and 3rd party
consultants (as needed) for complete systems development and implementation
of assigned projects.

. Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and
documentation as required to meet agreed due dates and project requests.

. Design, test and troubleshoot interfaces to/from external business
systems.

. Provides Quality Assurance reviews on systems and programs to
insure proper development, implementation standards, and procedures.

. Provides training and walk-thru of systems and programs.

. Must provide a very high degree of customer service and
professionalism within a team environment. Follows proper development and
implementation standards and procedures as defined by the IS Manager.

. AS400 Security, Administration and Maintenance.

. Month End and Yearly Processing Schedules.

Work experience:

. Must have solid technical skills working within MAPICS or JD
Edwards or JBA or BPCS or PRMS software environment

. Understanding of ERP applications and business processes.

. Ability to provide documentation and project plans using any
Office or comparable suite of tools or applicable documentation tools.

. Solid AS400 administrative experience with security, maintenance
and upgrades.

. Development experience on an ISeries RPG IV/ILE, SQL, on an AS400
platform.

. PC & server knowledgeable a plus must be willing to provide backup
to other members of the IT Team.

. Has documented processes, procedures and business controls

. Working knowledge of relational databases and client-server
concepts

Technical Skills:

. AS400 DB2, OS, RPG/RPG ILE, CL, ODBC, SQL, Query, MAPICS or JD
Edwards or JBA or BPCS or PRMS

. 5 + Years of programming experience



Educational experience:

. Bachelor's degree (preferred but not required) with academic
achievement

. Additional software certifications & training a plus
