I like to put good old Exodus 5:9 on my resume . . .

"Make the work harder for the men so that they keep working and pay no attention to lies."

you know, just to keep them on their toes . . . :p

IMO, it is *not* a good idea. Besides the possibility of implicitly
excluding yourself from consideration because companies avoid potential
discrimination claims like the plague, my resumé is already too long. I
also do not include my age, but like you said, most can figure a
ballpark on that from other information. The one exception is that I
include my participation in Boy Scouts as an assistant scoutmaster; it's
a one-liner, at the bottom of the resumé, and is intended to convey that
I have a "life" outside of work, have leadership skills, believe in
volunteering in worthy civic activities, etc. I also think of it as a
way to easily disqualify myself if a prospective employer is looking for
someone they can "own" 24x7.

Hmmm. I can only imagine that the applicant is implicitly qualifying
him/herself for consideration only with organizations that are led by
like-minded "souls". I think that is misguided, even if you were
applying to a religious organization; I would think it would have the
appearance of "fluff" or "filler" because the applicant didn't have
enough experience to adequately fill a resumé. Curious though, what
kind of bible passages have you seen? Relating to Jezebel? The
Revelations (end times)? The old reliable John 3:14?
