As a professional recruiter, I do not recommend inclusion of personal information such as age, marital status, no. kids, etc. Outside organizational involvement, especially in a leadership capacity, can be a plus when applying for a position with leadership responsibilities. >From a recruiter's perspective, it is ILLEGAL to forward a candidate's resume to a client if the resume contains age or marital status information.
