At least a 6 month contract, possibility of going full time.
 
POSITION SUMMARY
 
Analyze, Maintain and enhance Corporate AS400 host applications in the RPG 
programming language for a multi-site support environment.
 
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
 
1.      Reviews, analyzes and modifies all host applications in an AS400 
environment
2.      Performs other duties as assigned.
 
 
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
 
1.      Technical knowledge on an IBM AS400
2.      CL (control Language) programming skills
3.      RPG programming skills
4.      Knowledge in programming to download data to MS Office applications
5.      Good analytical and communication skills
6.      Other programming languages a plus
7.      PRMS MRP package experience a plus
         
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED LEVEL OF EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree a plus and/or 5-7 years of programming experience
5-7 years of programming in an AS400 environment. 3-5 years of system 
analytical skills

REQUIRED AREA OF EXPERIENCE:
AS400, PC and Client software
Or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or 
licensure/certification.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree or 5-7 years of 
programming experience.

Experience working in a manufacturing or distribution type of environment is a 
huge plus.
