Yeah, that's right. But I modified the product settings file - in
accordance with their documentation. Furthermore, I sent them the
ini-file and a description of the problem and they replied saying that
they had been able to recreate the problem in Oz. Promised to come back
once it was fixed. Then - silence. That was one of the reasons (although
not the main reason, I must admit) we had to cancel the aXes project.

I'm not familiar with their package, but the 30-second issue rings a
bell. What's you web server's timeout. 30 seconds is a common one. What
happens if you up that wait time on the web server?

Besides, aXes is not particularly comfortable with long-running (longer
than 30 seconds?) interactive processes: their SW simply hangs. It took
me some time to explain it to them and they promised to fix it, but fot
some reason never did. At least, they have never come back to me; and
that's not a good sign.
