    RE:  The post by James Lampert.  I was not aware that the AS/400 supported 
PL/I; and, more to the point, that there was a PLI example of a front end to 
the QPrCrtPg API.  If you could enlighten the rest of us as to chapter and 
verse, I would appreciate it!  Maybe even get some useful suggestions.

The only example I have seen of a front-end (in an IBM manual for the AS/400) 
is in the "OS/400 System API Programming Version 3" manual, in Chapter 5.  It 
is implemented in CL (a poor choice, even given IBM's reason that CL "is 
universally available on the AS/400") and, while it may give some hints about 
MI programming, is one of the most convoluted designs I have ever seen for a 
relatively simple task.  

So, where is the PL/I version to be found, exactly?
