Fascinating. For my own part, I've now gotten the entire directory tree of my sample SAV save files to display in a Java JTree. I was also able to determine that the sixth pointer on the LNK points to a structure that contains the object type (at an additional displacement of 44 bytes). Which is useful for knowing which tree nodes you should keep handy for the next "QSRDSSPC.1" descriptor in the file. Now, I just need to figure out the confusing parameters of the RST command sufficiently that I can construct them programmatically, based on the tree nodes the user selects. -- JHHL
