Hello,

I need to be able to determine if a file is open, locked, etc. or a user is in a particular program in
order to be able to rebuild or build a new sub-system within that library. The administrator
could start the process at any time and would need to know if that sub-system is active or not.

I've checked the APi's and checking for object locks would only tell me if a file is locked but not necc. being used and the job list api's I'm not sure will get down to a specific user in a particular program or not or maybe but painfully. In other words, I may have to resort to surf the active job indexes and check the program stacks but not sure.

Any other ideas?

Thanks.
