Savefile objects do not have checksums, true.   *Reading* a save file
generates checksums into the virtual 528-byte records you get, and
*writing* to a save file requires checksums in the corresponding spots
where they would have appeared during a read.  CPF5175 or CPF4525 occurs
during a write to a save file if a record 12-byte checksum or the file
16-byte checksum is binary zero, or if incorrectly recalculated.
