While it's certainly possible to write an EDTCDE-aware (and even edit WORD

aware!) application in MI, you'd have to implement it yourself, and the code
to
do it, if you're going for a general case, is going to be at least 5
pages
long, and a pain in the fundament to design and debug.

proprietary.
