I think IBM turns off the Addressability-Is-Inserted-Into-Context bit in the Create-Stream-File instruction template, and uses descent through Data Space Index objects in Unicode to get to stream files, instead of through RSLVSP. Unblocked MATAUOBJ in a user state program coughs up pointers to stream files. MATSOBJ on these pointers shows me that stream files have no associated spaces!
