> Why is building an external structure through a utility > better than #pragma > mapinc? I think mapinc builds an external structure too, it's just that it gets used & discarded at compile time. Having the external structure in a living breathing #include file created by the GENSRC is better than having to do: #mapinc, compile, then cut & paste from the spoolfile generated from the compile into your source them modify the structure...
