Dear Gene (et al.): Looking at the code, I see a 2-byte field named ".UFCBFLG1," with bits labeled for such things as "close options," "share ODP options," "secure options," "UFCB state," &c., followed by a 4-character anonymous field commented "VER REL," a 4-byte anonymous binary field commented "INVOC MARK COUNT," and a 1-byte field named ".UFCBFLG2," with bits labeled for "count invoc marks," "tape close parms," "multrcd specified," and "bit 3-7 unused."
