This is a multi-part message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] How is the client access signon user name and password encrypted when sent to the as400. Using PKE or a CIPHER equivalent on the pc? If PKE, is the public key known, does it change over time, is there a "password validation" port on the as400 that a non client access socket pgm can talk to to validate a user name and password on the 400? Thanks, Steve Richter --
