Paul,

A 2nd post to fine tune my questions on the rqr that place the teraspace
outside the SLS...

>contiguous addressing range, and in V5R1, allows use of untagged 8-byte
>pointers
What apps need untagged ptrs?

>and supports file mapping.
would not a sls space or teraspace implicitly be a file mapped object?

>It fills the bill for classes of data

Does this mean that one process cannot access the space of another process?
Could this be handled with object authority? One process would not be
authorized to the spaces of another process?

Is there a concern of too many objects being created and destroyed,
resulting in the exaustion of sls teraspace address?

Thank you,
Steve Richter
