Thank you, Phil.  Unfortunately the MATINV target invocation must be an
observable OPM program or else we get MCH3001, "Program not observable."
But we need the parameter count regardless of observability.

Second, MATINV must be told the value for "number of parameter ODV numbers"
in the selection information in operand 2 before MATINV executes.  Geez,
that's the number we want in the first place.  So if the number we specify
here doesn't equal the number of parameters sent to the target invocation,
we get MCH5601, "Template value not valid for instruction."  Seems MATINV
doesn't return the parameter count.

Regarding MATINVAT with attribute ID '4' to get parameter list pointer to
bound invocation: the MATINVAT with ID '4' returns a pointer set to 32
bytes before an array of space pointers to the parameter values.  However,
ID '4' does not return the parameter count.  And by the way what is the
reason for these 32 bytes of garbage before the space pointer array?  Why
doesn't the MI Functional Reference Manual document this in the MATINVAT
pages?
