Hi, Bruce, Thanks for your reply. I agree with you regarding the need to write as little MI as possible. Programs done in this language are difficult (at best) to maintain even with the most complete documentation. (Sorta like how I view C.) Anyway, I had not thought of imbedding MI statements in CL which will get me where I want to go. Now all I have to discover is how. Minor detail. Again, appreciate the time you took to reply. Later.
