Object auditing of the file will not allow anyone to determine what records in the file were read. In fact, only the Open of the file is audited so there is nothing in the audit journal to indicate that any records were actually read, updated, or deleted. The only way I can think to audit the read of individual records is to have all programs that read the file also do the auditing. Of course this solution will not work when things like CPFY are used to read the file.
