0004 gives you the SYSTEM serial number,
012C can also give you that, but the position used (1125)
points to the PROCESSOR serial number (for the first 
processor if you have more). This is different from the SYSTEM
serial number. On CISC boxes the processor serial number is
hexadecimal X'00000000000000000000'. This is one way of
testing what kind of box you are on without relying on VxRxMx.
It is, at least in theory, possible that a CISC version of V4RxMx
could be build. (not likely though).
