David,
Instead of using SAVLIB, we use to save the libraries by *SAVF and in a CL program use FTP in order to carry the information on a Server.
The restore is by request of. Normally have restored Phisical Files.

Asunto: [MAPICS-L] Backup strategies other than traditional SAVLIB to tape?

SAVLIB to tape has been tried-and-true for decades. Is anyone using any other type of strategy for backing up their MAPICS data or iSeries data? Any experience with incremental backups or the use of a backup "appliance" like the ones provided by Unitrends?

Thanks.
