From time to time we have an issue with a shipment getting invoiced that has no cost. Cost roll wasn't done.
When we were doing green screen order entry, we used a line item user exit to check the Item Warehouse (ITEMBL) file to see if the cost of the item was zero. If it was we suspended the item warehouse record, which then in turn caused an error in order entry.
We have moved away from green screen order entry and are now entering orders in PowerLink, and I need to replicate the above check.
I don't really know when the PowerLink user exits are actually run in the process. I'd like to use one that is invoked when the CREATE button is pressed on the Create CO Line Item template.
Does any know if there is a user exit at this point? How do you know where a user exit is going to be run?
