Are you looking for a scanner on a conveyor line that will scan boxes as they come down the line? There are several types of scanner that perform this functionality and will integrate back into XA. Or are you talking about using RFID tags and scanning them as they go thru the portal to read the RFID tags at the end of the line?

Either way there are several ways that you can remove the manual scanning of each individual carton/case as it comes down the line. Please feel free to contact me offline to discuss this further.

Subject: [MAPICS-L] Automated Scanning......

I wanted to ask and see if anyone in the Mapics community has experience setting automated scan tunnel's? If so do you have vendor contacts that I can talk to?

We are needing to get an automated scan process in place for all of our finished products that exit our Assembly/Pack area. We are currently manually scanning them with RF Guns, but I need to eliminate the manual process.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
