Our BOMs are typically up to 3 levels with a lot of components.

Subject: Re: [MAPICS-L] MRP run time

Curious, how many levels are your BOMs?

I have a question regarding MRP run time. We've installed ISL and CFL
which requires running MRP twice for some warehouses. The total
MRP/MPSP run was taking about 4 ½ hours. Suddenly it jumped an
additional two hours. There's no new data or program changes, we
clear recommendations from PLNORD, ORDREV, and REQMTS before each run,
we turned off the reports. Short of turning on another processor,
what other suggestions are out there to make MRP/MPSP run faster? We are on 7.8.
