We had the same issue back when we were on R6, trying to get individuals to logout for backups was a challenge. I found a great little app called PSKill, it goes out to the PC on the network finds the process and shuts it down. We just created a batch file with the PC IP's listed and which process to kill, the nice thing is that it also worked with MDCC. It is a little abrupt and will create an ABEND on the server but it will do the trick._______________________________________________

Subject: [MAPICS-L] QUSRWRK/QZDASOINIT jobs
Good morning / afternoon list!
I want to end active MAPICS browser sessions but I cannot end the subsystem QUSRWRK because there are other important jobs running in the same subsystem.
Is there anything easier that doing a WRKACTJOB to disk and have a program to ENDJOB each particular job, or something like that?
Please advise,
TIA,
