There is also a little known feature in Overview where you can place functions like count and sum on the seperator node for a group of records.
So if you had a few known groups you can add each to the overview with a different subset and then have totals for each group.

Robert,

Just in the Local Print?  Subtotals/breaks will still not an option within a view?  Having it in local print will still be a help, though.

Gerri-

At the last users conference they talked about that functionality coming
for release 9 for PowerLink.  I believe it was going to be controlled
via the specified sort on the object.

One solution at 7.8 that may work is to create an SQL view that does the
breaking and subtotals, then integrate that view as a non-maintainable
object.  This will probably have some severe performance implications,
but it should work.

Let me know if you need some help with the SQL.  The CUBE and/or ROLLUP
Functions(v6.1) are useful for this.

Can PowerLink's  Enterprise Integrator accommodate basic control break
processing. summarizing data for each record having a unique value and
then
displaying subtotals and totals?  Has anyone done this using Powerlink
7.8?
