We're using a tool called AcroTeX. I don't know that I would suggest it, but you might take a look to see if it fits your needs. It is a .NET application so Windows only. The one serious limitation that it seems to have is that you can only monitor one directory and print to one printer at a time.

Subject: [MAPICS-L] Printing Drawing.

This is an OLD conversation but. "Printing CAD Drawing when a MO Prints"

We are having problems with the software we use "Traction Software"

We print CAD drawings or PDFs attached to the item rev file, which are in the IFS, when a MO prints.

They MOs and the drawing do print of different printers.

The software prints a cover sheet with the MO number then prints the drawing. We send the job of printing to a separate server which then prints to a designated printer on the network.

This did work at one time but I feel we need to look for another solution.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks ahead of time.
