Good Evening ,

I am wondering if you could assist us in automating our invoicing process in MAPICS. I see numerous threads about automating and using ROBOT but no setup instructions. Our efforts so far have not proved fruitful.

We contacted INFOR but they had no specifics about how to-do the invoice automation. They did send us an example of a submit job for the off-line shipping program and we tried to mimic what it was doing but with no success.

We do have Robot. We have tried the "learn" feature in robot but it loads a cryptic command line in ROBOT that isn't even maintainable, and the job fails.

We tried to create a CL and then submit it in ROBOT. We must be missing some parms that are needed because it fails on the call to AMBPQ2 program. Here is the code (ignore the hard code, at this point we are just trying to see what works, If we can get this working and use it for other applications, we will pass values)
